2016 has been a kick in the pills right? We saw the Celebrity Apprentice elected to the most powerful position in the world and it seems we lost so many people this year that were icons (RIP Princess Leia). News also just came across that UFC 207 will be Mike Goldberg's last show. These are too many changes to the status quo. At least this Friday we get the return of the former women's bantamweight champion.

The gang discuss the news of Ronda's lack of media schedule along with Cyborg's failed drug test. This leads to an inevitable Rousey v. Holm 2 discussion. They then spend the majority of the show discussing UFC 207: Nunes v. Rousey. The gang makes their predictions for the entire main card, focusing heavily on the respective bantamweight championship match-ups. All that and another, Rogue One-centric, edition of "Stuff We Like."

The gang comes together to discuss their time at UFC on Fox: VanZant v. Waterson. They discuss the Karate Hottie's big win along with Mickey Gall's submission of Sage Northcutt. The gang also discusses Urijah Faber's retirement fight and his incredible contribution to the sport. They discuss Jouban's win over Perry and the rest of the stellar UFC Sacramento card. The gang then previews Rizin's end of the year and the UFC's questionable reasons for creating the 145 pound division for their female fighters. All that and another edition of "Stuff We Like."

The UFC returns to Sacramento California but this time they're in the new Golden One Center instead of the aging Sleep Train Arena (formerly Arco Arena). I only mention this because I used to live in Sacramento and have found memories of the old Arco Arena. I'm excited to see this new Golden One Center and luckily my excitement only grows as me and the rest of the It's MMAzing crew (minus "I think I'm turning Japanese" Lavendar Gooms) will be in attendance. We also happen to have a hell of a fun fight card in front of us, headlined by Dancing with the Stars runner-up and overall tough cookie Paige VanZant when she takes on Ninja Warrior contestant Michelle Waterson. We'll also see MMA legend Urijah Faber's last match as he'll be riding into the sunset, hopefully with a nice win. In addition we'll also see Sage Northcutt, Mickey Gall, Brad Pickett and Mike Perry.

The gang comes together to talk about the surprisingly awesome UFC 206 card. They discuss Max Holloway's fake interim title victory over Anthony Pettis and where both he and Mr. Pettis go from here. They then discuss Cerrone's big win over Brown and Doo Ho Choi's (Doo Ho!) fight of the year with Cub Swanson. The gang discusses Gastelum's big win over Kennedy along with Groovy Lando's incredible first UFC victory. Of course, Black Beast in this ho. The gang then makes predictions for this Saturday's upcoming UFC on Fox event. All that and another edition of "Stuff We Like."

Oh UFC 206 how I wish I could love thee justly. But alas, your foibles loom too large, but most none of it is your fault as fighters. Don't get me wrong, as a Fight Night or a Fox card, this event is great. We have divisional relevance, the long awaited return of high level contenders, but this event is not what you call Pay-Per-View worthy. And that was all before #BeltGate. I have seen many Conor detractors relish in him being stripped of his belt. Many outcries of "well you can't hold up the division" or "he took three fights outside the weight class!" and those are all fair, but none of those factors change the simple truth that Holloway and Pettis would not be fighting for a belt if it were not for the injury of Daniel Cormier. The timing stinks. The reasoning, truly short-sighted. The real reasoning, not the perpetual lies of one Dana F. White. I get he's a promoter, but years of following this sport has made me weary of his partial truths and blatant lies.
And now we have a late update (edit) from Doc Law himself that Mr. Tony Pettis has missed weight. Now it was REALLY worth it to strip Conor in some futile hope of salvaging this card right? A man who was 1-3 in his last four fights may have become a champion... and now he might still knock out a title challenger, but not be champion for it. Ladies and gentlemen, this is 2016.

People of Albany. Get hyped! The UFC is coming to town for the first ever with...oh no. What the hell is this? This is a UFC card? Are you serious?! What the f*ck?!
Alright, I've calmed down a bit. Let's look at the bright side. You have 2 heavyweight fights and 2 light heavyweight fights on this main card. The fight card is also on Fight Pass. That means there's an avenue here where this will be a very violent and short evening. Sh*t if the main card starts at 10pm ET, there's a real possibility you're at the bars by 11:30.

"Fuck, it is what it is. Heart of a champion. Fuck what y'all talkin' about. Black Beast in this ho. Shit, can't expect somebody to win when all they wanna do is hug you. Shit. Fuck what y'all talkin' bout. Fuck. I'm a champ by heart. I don't give a fuck. I'ma keep going, no matter 3 rounds or 5 rounds. Swangin' and bangin'. H-town on that boy."

The gang comes together to discuss to formation on the MMAAA and talk about how bad of an idea it was to put Bjorn Rebney out there on day one. They also discuss DJ's latest title defense and what's left for him at 125. They then preview UFC Fight Night Albany and UFC 206. All of that and another edition of "Stuff We Like."
